Trying to encourage others by sharing my curiosity, restlessness and attempts at finding purpose and peace, likely to vent some frustration every now and then yet do my best at this stage of my life to be what God created me to be for my own good and the good of others. In other words I’ll be trying to love God with all of my heart, mind, soul and strength, and love my neighbor as myself
Continually falling and failing I’ll nevertheless attempt grace for myself and others. Moving forward into God’s love, sharing that love and grace more with the depressed, the anxious, the exploited, the wounded, and the vulnerable of all of God’s creation, of every race and every gender identity. Humanity, water, trees, plants and animals, soil, air and the quietness of nature are all at grave risk today from our greed and exploitation.
I’ll do my bit to “plant trees” as Martin Luther is said to have responded when asked what he would do if he was told the world was going to end tomorrow.
I may also get a bit silly.
